The Charles Surendorf II Art Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping teachers keep art alive in our schools. We desire to inspire aspiring young artists through exhibits, workshops, and events at High Schools around the country, using the original art of Charles F. Surendorf II as the platform to educate and challenge them to find their own creative abilities.
The foundation has partnered with TCA as part of TCA's membership incentive. More on this fantastic opportunity to own or lease the work of Charles Surendorf AND become a member of TCA to help the ARTS in our community!

SONORA WRITERS GROUP
We're a grassroots, community organization, consisting of Makers, Crafters, Hackers, Teachers, Designers and Engineers. Our goal is to create a local establishment where people can bring their ideas to life. We believe we can turn makers into entrepreneurs. We are hip to the Sharing Economy.
There are Open Make opportunities so that you can check out what we offer, and what see you might want to make!
Once a year the Makers help bring the Hand Made Parade in Jamestown to life. The parade is held every October on the first Saturday, which is California ARTS Day.
The Maker space was located on Barretta St. in the same building as TCA's Office. BUT WE HAVE ALL MOVED! We are now downtown at the Sonora Inn, 160 S. Washington St.
Everyone is invited to come together to connect through the sharing of personal stories in a safe, supportive environment. Anything goes. Everyone has a story to tell, and we want to hear yours!
