Time & Location
Sep 06, 2025, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM PDT
TCA's Studio @ The Dome, 251 Barretta St, Building B, Sonora, CA 95370, USA
About the event
The Handmade Parade crew will be hosting a FREE weekend of workshops for all ages at TCA's air-conditioned Dome Studio space on September 6th & 7th — in preparation for the big parade in Jamestown on Saturday, October 4th, 2025!
With the assistance of our talented HMP instructors you can learn to make your own recycled lantern, work on a costume piece or other unique creation for the parade, and even learn a special HMP dance choreography!
This year's theme is ENDANGERED CREATURES, continuing the upcycling and eco-conscious aspects of Trashion (our theme from 2024) but with a special highlight on animals. Imagine features like ears, tails, scales, or even feathers — all made out of recycled materials into a unique, wearable creation!
