Holiday Crafting @ Aronos
The public is invited to join TCA and MotherLode MakerLabs at the Aronos Clubhouse to create DIY holiday-themed crafts from sustainable materials. FREE, supplies provided, and all ages welcome! Warm drinks and cookies will be served. The event will coincide with the tree-lighting ceremony downtown!

About the event
The Aronos Research Club is joining forces once again with Tuolumne County Arts, MotherLode MakerLabs, and the Sonora Chamber of Commerce to host a craft making workshop in conjunction with the Lighting Ceremony of Downtown Sonora on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
Crafting with Tuolumne County Arts will take place in the Aronos Clubhouse located at 37 Elkin Street from 3:30pm to 5:30pm The public is invited to join Tuolumne County Arts and MotherLode MakerLabs at the Aronos Clubhouse to create DIY holiday-themed crafts from sustainable materials. FREE, supplies provided, and all ages welcome! Warm drinks and cookies will be served.
The event is planned to coincide with the Ceremony of Light, which is part of the Christmas Town activities planned by the Sonora Chamber of Commerce. The lighting of the trees at the Red Church launches Christmas Town events in downtown Sonora. The public is encouraged to gather in the Fire Museum Parking Lot on Washington Street in time to view the lighting at 5:30 pm.
