The 2025 Handmade Parade

➡️ What is the HMP?

Taking place on the 1st Saturday of October each year, the Tuolumne County Handmade Parade is a FREE half day of arts and entertainment for all ages followed by a parade of costumes, creations, and performances in Jamestown, CA.

Join TCA for an afternoon in Rocca Park making arts and crafts, listening to live music, hanging out with the community, and maybe even learning some juggling or hula hoop tricks from our entertainers. Main St. will then be temporarily closed around dusk, and you can watch or participate in the Handmade Parade itself! Participants in the parade will have the opportunity to show off their custom creations or performances fitting our yearly theme. Think costumes, giant puppets, dances, marching bands, and more! Don’t forget to stay after the parade for some mesmerizing performances as well!

➡️ How do I join the actual parade?

Registration for the parade takes place day-of during the afternoon portion of the event. Interested parade participants can prepare a costume, performance, giant puppet, or other creative creation suited to the yearly theme. Join one of our many Handmade Parade workshops during the months leading up to October for inspiration, supplies, and assistance from out creative experts! Didn't make a costume ahead of time or need to add some last-minute additions? Our free craft tables will be available for you to use during the day!
