TCA is always creative in our event offerings. In the past, we have partnered with MyAct to host a Cinco de Mayo concert with Joe Craven and the Sometimers, an afternoon  trunk show and jewelry sale by Stonedbeads, an art auction and mini concert at Winter's Tavern, and a print auction and dinner event honoring the work of Charles Surendorf.

Keep in touch with TCA and all our activities by signing up to receive our newsletter. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to enroll!

Our fundraiser event for 2019 will be an afternoon of sweets, eats and fun. Every year we celebrate a different artist or art form. This year we have a new twist; our first miniature show will look to Northern California artist Wayne Thiebaud's work for inspiration. To enter, or to find out more please visit:

Our show prospectus and call to artists online.

September 28, from 2 to 5PM     ONLINE TICKETS

All proceeds will go to our operating budget so that we can continue to be THE arts resource for our county.

"LIFE IS SWEET" GARDEN PARTY & MINIATURES SHOW

Always the first Saturday of October: National Celebration of the ARTS. Join fellow citizens in a collective art experience that no one will soon forget… the handmade parade is a parade for anyone that wants to celebrate creativity and diversity in a non-political activity that fosters community involvement and creative expression. Described as a “walking theatrical performance”, our parade will also glow after dark! everyone and anyone is invited to participate and get busy building their small float, prop, or costume.

HANDMADE PARADE

Our location at the Historic Sonora Inn has enabled us to serve our artist community by showcasing local artists, both visual and musical. It's such a fun venue at our office/galley space, that  dancing and singing has also been known to break out spontaneously!  Hours are 5 – 8 p.m. Come and chat with the artists. Enjoy light snacks and refreshments. Donations for our generous and talented musicians are greatly appreciated. It's a perfect place to start your ARTS experience on S. Washington St. in Sonora. Shows rotate on a monthly basis, so there is always new work exhibited. If you would like your work to be considered for a show in our gallery space, please contact info@tuolumnecountyarts.org.

2ND SATURDAY ARTIST SHOW & RECEPTION

The InFocus Photography Competition and Exhibition is one of  TCA’s most successful events.  The show draws both amateur and professional entries. InFocus offers both cash and merchandise as prizes for the winning photographs in both the color and black and white categories.  The show’s generous sponsors along with the show’s entry fees makes InFocus a self-sustaining event.
